Vampire Weekend's first album is a decent amateur effort that hipsters the world over have been eating up like organic vegan soy chips. There are a couple of stand out songs, namely "Oxford Comma", which I have been aching to play on my radio show. Unfortunately, the first line of the chorus is "Who gives a fuck about an Oxford comma?", planting it firmly in the "unplayable" category. So, subversive anarchist rebel that I am, I'm posting it here for your enjoyment.
Oxford Comma - Vampire Weekend
And, in the spirit of censorship, Adam Buxton's hilariously clean version of "Fuck tha Police" by NWA.

that line is so good. and yet it means i can't play it on my show =( I think i'm gonna have to go back to an after 10 slot. Damn you FCC!
And that's why freeform radio is the way to go. WBAR would basically be nothing without both swearing and Vampire Weekend. Damn the man, indeed!
WSRN is most definitely a freeform radio station, but we are still required to sign contracts agreeing to FCC regulations at the beginning of the semester.
handy hints:
Invest in cool edit pro or adobe audition and learn how to make radio edits of your own tracks
Or if you're really lazy you can contact the record label (promo dept) and ask for a clean copy?
